JEWELLERY COURSES
The goldsmithery courses, practical or practical/theoretical, can last one or two years. From the first day of the course the students work with silver and stones, of which they have a huge store available. The aim of these courses is to provide the students with a solid technical base, the ability to produce personal work and independence in managing the creative processes. The teaching method, tested and refined since 1985, allows excellent results to be achieved in relatively short periods. A large number of techniques and themes are addressed: it is not a question of learning a certain type of goldsmithery (e.g. 'Florentine' or 'Contemporary') but rather the methodologies that allow the production of and experimentation with all types.
JEWELRY COURSES - JEWELRY DESIGN
The courses in artistic and technical design are designed to provide the student with the knowledge and techniques needed for correct graphical representation of a piece of jewellery. To achieve this aim, we develop two formally distinct but closely related subjects: the first essentially concerns the methods of representation using descriptive geometry, while the second concerns everything to do with the creative aspect and technical problems connected with rendering. The annual courses include some lessons in wax modelling. |
